At the sametime, the advisor must instruct and demonstrate behaviors that lead to sociallyacceptable character development, self-discipline, self-confidence, and pride ofaccomplishment in the students. To upgrade his/her knowledge and skillsthrough teaching and mentoring. 1. Has the ability to assist in organizingand supervisingan activities program. 2. The advisor must have substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of the activity and, at the same time, must continue to examine new theories and procedures pertinent tothe field. 3.Thecoach must serve as an appropriate role model for students throughhis/her instructions and actions. REPORTS TO: The Activities Director, who provides overall objectives and final evaluation inconjunction with the high school principal.
